2MP AR0230
The AR0230CS is a 1/2.7-inch CMOS digital image sensor with an active-pixel array of 1928Hx1088V. It can capture images in linear or high dynamic range modes using a rolling-shutter readout. Additionally, it includes advanced camera functions such as in-pixel binning, windowing, and both videoand single frame modes. The AR0230CS is designed to perform well in both low light and high dynamic range scenes. It can be programmed through a simple two-wire serial interface. This camera produces clear and sharp digital pictures, and its ability to capture both continuous video and single frames makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, including surveillance and HD video

1. The camera examination should meet requirement of NO.1;
2. Using the calliper to measure the size of the camera, positioning holes, lens height and others, which should meet the requirements of 2;
3. The camera is connected to the display module or the displayer for detection, and the image cant appear the phenomenon such as distortion;
4. When the camera is working, using the oscilloscope to measure the video output amplitude of the video signal: 0.8~1.2VP-P/75Ω;
5. When the camera is connected to the displayer, and the standard colour card is placed 0.8 meters in front of the camera, the image on the observation monitor should be consistent with the real scene;
6. High and low temperature test, The temperature is maintained at 70 ° C for 2 h, the normal energy is applied, and the temperature is negative at 30 ° C for 2 h, the power-on test can work normally;
7. There must be no vignetting around the image;
8. Stability test, continuous aging for 24 hours, no failure should occur;
9. Camera minimum illumination test, camera minimum illumination reaches 1.0LUX. (no LED)

Maintenance and Care
Cleaning and Protection
● Regular Cleaning: Use an air blower or soft brush to remove dust from the lens and sensor surfaces. Avoid using alcohol or corrosive cleaning agents.
● Anti-static Measures: Before operation, touch a grounded metal surface to discharge static electricity, or wear an anti-static wrist strap to prevent electrostatic discharge from damaging the sensor.
Long-Term Storage
● Dry Environment: Place the module in an anti-static bag with a desiccant (such as a silicone bag) and store it in an environment with a temperature of 25℃ and humidity below 50%.
● Regular Power-On: If the module is not used for a long period, it is recommended to power it on once every 3 months (30 minutes each time) to prevent capacitor aging.
Troubleshooting
● No Image Output: Check the power supply and interface connections for proper function, or try replacing the cable/host for testing.
● Abnormal Image: If stripes or color spots appear, it may be due to sensor damage or electromagnetic interference. Contact the manufacturer for repair.
● Performance Degradation: If the frame rate decreases or noise increases, it may be due to overheating or firmware issues. Cooling or firmware upgrade is required.
