Designed for advanced mobile photography and embedded vision applications, the Sony IMX378 is a 12.3-megapixel back-illuminated (BSI) Exmor RS CMOS image sensor. Its 1.55 μm pixel size, 1/2.3-inch optical format, and stacked sensor design allow for precise color reproduction, strong dynamic range, and outstanding low-light sensitivity. The sensor can capture 4056 × 3040 still photos at up to 30 frames per second, has on-chip Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), and supports 12-bit RAW output. Machine vision, AI cameras, drones, robotics, smart devices, and industrial imaging systems can all benefit from its capability for 4K UHD video recording and high-speed Full HD modes.
